Eidon is an Audiovisual Laboratory dedicated to the production of audiovisual contents that combine storytelling, ethnography and scientific dissemination, dealing with topics in the field of social sciences, like mental health, child care protection, suicide prevention, cultural & community health, trauma impacts & interventions.
Today, the relevance of technology for our lives is widely perceived by people, while the meaning and implications of research in the human sciences are very often poorly understood and evaluated as not very significant.
EIDON also responds to a need that is increasingly part of the institutional action of research (the university third mission). An adequate outreach is in fact a fundamental requirement for obtaining national and European funding for research projects.
